Second Annual Robert R. Cotter Scholarship Announced |

The Largo Band of Gold Alumni Association is pleased to announce that
applications are now being accepted for the second annual Robert R. Cotter
Memorial Scholarship. This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a
graduating high school senior that is a member of the Largo High School
Band of Gold, or the child or grandchild of a Band of Gold graduate. The
scholarship will be awarded to the student who most exemplifies the teachings of
former Band of Gold director Robert Cotter. This year, applications
will be accepted from seniors in any school. It is not necessary to be
attending Largo High School, however the applicant must still be a member of the
Band of Gold family as mentioned above. An application accompanies this
release, and we encourage those qualified to apply. Applications must be
returned by March 21, 2008. If you are a Largo High School student, please
return your completed application to the guidance office. All others
